Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Smiths. Many new milestones have happened within the last month. Cooper began rolling over on a regular basis and he is now rocking on all fours, sometimes even on his tippy toes. We love how independent he is becoming. It is a little sad though, now I know why people say to not wish for mobility just yet! We're also going through some teething stages which has proven to be not as bad as we thought, YET! Cooper also enjoys "talking" on a regular basis and he is really good at it. I don't think we'll ever have a problem getting him to speak.

5 Months

Cooper is almost 6 months old! AMAZING how fast it seems to go by. He is now eating cereals and fruits (apples and bananas). We still haven't had a full nights sleep, but we're okay with that. Cooper is now sitting up, as you will see in some of the pictures. He knows HOW to roll over, but still likes to just stay on his back or stomach. I have a feeling he will be crawling before we know it. There are some new pictures posted. Just click on the link titled "The Smiths" and browse away!

4 Months Old

Well, Cooper has proven to be an over-achiever once again. At his 4 month check up he weighed 18 lbs 11 ounces. At that weight, this puts him "off the charts" as the nurse put it! He is in the 100% for his weight. He is 25.5 inches long as well which puts him in the 75%. Yes, we have a BIG BABY BOY!!! He also had his first taste of cereal today. He seemed to like it, but that's not too surprising...he seems to want to eat anything. We'll be adding more pictures soon. It's hard to imagine him as a newborn, so small and fragile; now he's a butter-ball baby!

3 Months Old

Cooper is 3 months old these days! He has yet to sleep through the night...although some times we get about 5 or 6 hours of sleep in a stretch! He now has a few friends that he gets to see every week from our new play group; although all they seem to do is stare at each other and then eat their hands! He keeps trying to find his thumb...it's only a matter of time! We hope everyone is doing well. And don't forget to check out the new pictures.

Cooper had his 2 month check up today where he received his first 5 shots. He was a very good boy and cried A LOT to let the nurses know that his lungs were still working fine! We also found out at the appointment that Cooper now weighs 13 pounds 6 ounces and is 23 inches long. Yes, his Momma is feeding him well and he never turns down a feeding! He keeps growing and adding new roles to his body daily. Pictures are up from the 4 th of July!

It's been 6 weeks! Cooper is getting so big. As of last week he is weighing in at 11 pounds 3 ounces. I'm sure he's already grown even more. He's begun smiling for longer periods of time. He still loves to be held as much as possible, but that's okay. We keep loving him like crazy and he keeps making us laugh and smile every day~

1 Month Old

Cooper James is now a month old. Time has gone by super fast. Cooper has kept himself busy by keeping his mom on schedule with feedings, diaper changes, and nap times. Check out the new pictures!

Well we've made it through 3 weeks of life with Cooper. It's seems that we are slowly settling in to a nice routine, although how much of a routine can you have with a 3 week old who is hungry at all hours of the day! Cooper has already gained a pound and has grown an inch and a half! There are new pictures posted, just click on link on the right side of the page.
